Meema is on a mission to humanize Alzheimer’s and dementia care and support caregivers who have been overlooked for far too long.

Our Story

We are Paige and Dianne Saucyn, a mother-daughter duo on a mission.

Our journey began about eight years ago when our beloved grandmother, affectionately known as Mema, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. While searching for activities and products for Mema, we have been consistently discouraged by the lack of respectful and dignified options - many existing dementia and Alzheimer’s products are childish and misunderstand the essence of dementia care. Perhaps even more disheartening is the near absence of products designed to support and help ease the emotional and physical challenges caregivers face.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple but profound: to provide items that bring comfort and joy for those living with dementia and Alzheimer’s, and to remind caregivers that they are not alone.

Every item in our shop is first tested and used by our family, honed through years of caregiving experience and personal research.

They are crafted with love and an intimate understanding of the nuances these conditions bring into daily life. Our creations are not just merchandise; they embody years of learning, adapting, and loving.

We are unique in our promise to listen actively to the needs of those affected and constantly innovate and create new products.

At Meema, we believe in maintaining dignity, inspiring joy, and showing that a diagnosis is not the end. It's the start of a new chapter, one that can be filled with love, care, and beauty.
